Remember SCRAP, the store I have told you about, the one that sells donated, recycled craft items for really cheap. Well a friend of mine sent me the link to their upcoming Rebel Craft Rumble! It sounds like fun.
The glue is gonna fly as crafters battle for supremacy at Rebel Craft Rumble. Bouts will be judged by Julie Sabatier of Destination DIY, Lindsey Newkirk of Junk to Funk and Portland City Commissioner Nick Fish, and the final bout pits the best competitor against the Craft Master—Sister Diane Gilleland.
This event isn’t for wussy, scissor-fearing spectators. It’s for those unafraid to jeer, heckle and enter the fray by forcing competitors to use craft items that will be auctioned off during the rumble. Since the crowd is expected to be rowdy—and there will be beer—no one under 21 will be admitted.
You can order tickets online: General admission is $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
