I came home yesterday to find my daughter sitting at my sewing machine sewing some pillows for her friends. If you want to see me break down and cry, well thats all you have to do, sit down and tell me how much you like to sew. Ok maybe not just any ol' person can bring me to tears but to see how much my daughter loves sewing, well thats enough to put this mom over the edge. In fact the first words out of her mouth with a cute smile on her face were; "Mom, I don't care if its a little Barbie sewing machine, but I want a sewing machine".  Ok well I am not sure she will be getting a sewing machine anytime soon but she can definitely use mine.

So we all want something, right? I mean even the most selfless person wants something, even if they don't strive to get it, they still want it. Fair to say? Well I have some things I want, some I will get and some I wont and who knows, some that I may be surprised that I get. I have been surprised in the past.

Oh how I love scarves! I have found so many great scarves at the thrift stores over the past few months, from almost boring to very bold and extremely colorful. I ventured to a different thrift store with a few of my favorite people. We had a great time together. Its always fun to people watch in places like that. I love to see what people have in their carts and arms as they walk around the store. And wonder how they will wear the wonderful treasures they have found.
