DIY Christmas Gifts Day 4 – The 12 Days of Christmas Journal

I saw these Christmas Journals all over the Internet and thought of how great an idea it was and how much fun it would be to make and best of all I would get to use Mod Podge, which I love using.

Ever since I started using Mod Podge I have Mod Podged my pants accidentally, shoes purposely, and tons of fun projects for gifts. So I figured I could do this, no problem, right? Well I hadn’t planned on how tough it was going to be to come up with ideas for 25 days(pages) of Christmas. So I gave up after 12 days. But I figured that it could be the ’12 Days of Christmas Journal’. Besides its after the first of December and I still haven’t given it to my friend who I made it for.

Each page has a number or spelled out number on it.

I used pages from old books, envelopes, notebook covers...

I even included a page with two recipe cards on it.

I have not assembled it yet, but I was thinking of using these rings.

I will post a photo soon of it all put together, I was thinking maybe ribbon would add a festive touch. What do you think?
