Ruffle Scarf Success

You may be wondering if I got the scarf made and I am here to say that yes it was a success! And actually I made two of them, one for me and one for my friends birthday. She is 29 today! I am so fortunate to have such beautiful and young friends.

The two scarves are very different, mine is a slimmer and slightly longer version of hers, but both were made the same way. Mine looks more like the Banana Republic version I posted yesterday.

This is the scarf I made for myself.

I saw a post on My Mama Made It where she made a ruffle scarf out of cashmere and so I read through her tutorial and ruffled the material as I went. It really was super easy and my friend loves it. I will be making a few more of these for Christmas, as a request from my daughter. Maybe I will be lucky enough to find a cashmere sweater to use.
