I had them washed thoroughly of course, but since I'm only wearing them for halloween, I'm not that picky. The hair dilemma can be solved with one of those scrunchies that seem to be made out of hair. Revlon does them. Just pull her hair in a ponytail as high as you can, and twist it in a bun and tie the hair scrunchie around it. Good luck!
