Two Skirts into a Strapless Dress Part 1

I found this red skirt that had a beautiful beaded waist band at the Goodwill Outlet and the other skirt was one that I have had for a while, bought in South Africa, that I no longer wore. I figured if I could combine the two somehow that I might be able to come up with something spectacular or at least interesting. I was thinking that this dress would be good to wear to the Rooftop Picnic but I wont commit until I see how it turns out.

On this skirt I took the beaded band off and am only using that.

This is the plain slate colored skirt that I plan to add the beaded band from the other skirt to and make it a strapless dress.
