A while back I found this shirt from the goodwill by J Jill and loved the color and pattern so I figured in time I would make something from it, but what I would make, I hadn’t a clue.

Last night I was looking through some patterns I had drawn in my notebook and as I was pondering those patterns I figured out what I would do with that shirt.

I took the shirt and here is what I did:

  1. Cut the sleeves off
  2. Cut the front of the shirt from the back(using only the front)
  3. Cut the sides at a diagonal
  4. Sewed the top over to make a loop
  5. Ran a ribbon through the op you just made
  6. Cut the sleeves in half
  7. Sew half of the sleeves to the lower part of the side of the front for the back ties

And Ta Da – I was done! Super easy and super cute.
