Recycled Lovelies on Alberta Street

img_3680_2The last Thursday of every month, Alberta St in Portland Oregon has an Art on Alberta Gallery, where people from all over are able to set up a table out on the sidewalks and sell their art. It is so much fun.

When we decided to go to up to Alberta we hadn’t even thought about it being the last Thursday. We were only thinking of the wonderful pie we love to get at Random Order. While driving up we remembered that it was the last Thursday of the month.  So we took full advantage and were able to walk around a bit and take a look at the art that was out.

One of the things I found and hopefully will be able to duplicate is this really interesting and of course beautifully recycled pendant made from baby food jar lid, and other caps, topped with a cute little silver heart.
