Old Sweater into a New Scarf
I had this brownish tan super soft sweater that I never wore and I decided I would cut it apart and make a scarf out of it. It ended up being really long which at first I wasn't sure about but after wearing it I have come to really like it.
The bottom of the sweater had a small ruffle like edge which naturally curled up. I took a curled edge and sewed it to a non-curled edge until I got all the pieces together. I then took and folded the right sides together and made a long snake like scarf. I turned it right side out and Vuala! The curled edges covered up the stitching making it look finished.
This scarf is a bit stretchy and so soft that it feels good wrapped around my neck. It can be worn with jeans and a tee or a nice dress and heels. It is very versatile.

I thought it looked a bit like this scarf that Drew Barrymore is wearing.
